Quick Overview

Ds Laboratories Revita COR Hair Regrowth Conditioner deploys key compounds in hair growth with each proved in clinical trials — provide significant benefits against follicular dysfunction and in favor of scalp vitality. High-performance ingredients penetrate deeper and persist longer because they come encapsulated within hydrophobic, bio-adhesive, cationically charged microspheres. Less than a micron in diameter, the spheres deliver maximum benefits even while swimming or sweating. Directions: Wash hair with a high-quality shampoo. DS Laboratories recommends one free of sodium laureth sulfate, such as Revita®. Then massage Revita.COR thoroughly into the scalp and leave it on for two minutes. Rinse. For optimal results, Revita.COR should be used daily. To optimize hair-follicle stimulation, DS Laboratories offers complementary leave-in treatments such as Spectral.RS, Spectral.DNC-N, and Spectral.DNC-S Key Ingredients: 1. Plant-Based Stem Cells Revita.COR employs plant-based stem cells, which exhibit many of the same properties and much of the same plasticity as human cells. A botanical agent derived from plant stem cells now shows evidence of protecting and stimulating human epidermal stem cells. In experiments conducted on hair follicles, plant-based stem-cell extracts have rejuvenated tissues and delayed senescence. By applying plant-based stem cells, Revita.COR conditioner offers unprecedented potential to prolong the productivity of hair follicles. 2. Apigen Clinical studies suggest that apigenin, known to possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties, stimulates hair growth. Androgen-inducible transforming growth factor β (TGF-β1) gives the signal for hair follicles to terminate anagen phase. In one study, human epidermal keratinocytes treated with apigenin showed decreased levels of TGF-β1 expression and increased proliferation of papilla cells and keratinocytes. 3. Caffeine Active caffeine, a nervous-system stimulant, helps to regulate the effects of testosterone. Male pattern baldness occurs in individuals sensitive to testosterone, which damages follicles and leads to baldness. Solutions that contained caffeine helped to stave off hair loss and encourage hair growth, while those that relied on testosterone alone led to increased hair loss. By using caffeine, average growth was increased by 46 percent, and the life cycle of hair was extended by 37 percent, compared to controls. 4. Ginseng Modern scientific evidence indicates that roots of the genus Panax, commonly called ginseng, prolong hair-follicle life, exert antioxidant effects, and boost the immune system. Several plant extracts have been investigated for their abilities to influence apoptosis, the process of cellular self-destruction. In studies of murine follicles, ginseng prevented apoptosis, and it aided formation of medullary cells, even after gamma radiation. Modulating cell death is of great interest to hair-growth researchers. Phytochemicals from ginseng are likely to prove therapeutic in numerous applications. 5. Copper Peptides New nano copper peptides, formulated into Revita.COR conditioner, reach deeper into tissues to accomplish greater efficacy. In one study, scientists at the University of San Francisco Wound Center applied a synthetic copper peptide to the severe wounds of several patients. They healed 30 percent faster, and significant stimulation of follicular cells occurred. They tried the same copper peptide complex on a female patient with 90 percent alopecia. After six months, she recovered nearly all of her hair. Subsequent tests were conducted with chemotherapy and hair-transplant patients, with great success in stimulating stronger follicles. 6. Spin Traps 7. Zinc Gluconate An increasing number of studies examine the efficacy of zinc to treat alopecia, showing positive results and opening new areas for research. Zinc deficiency has been associated with hair loss and slow wound healing.
